Unconscious Bias Interview Skills Workshops

This Interview Skills Workshops is ideal for those new to a recruitment role and Manager / Hiring Managers. It will help participants develop their interviewing skills to select the right person. They will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to prepare for interviews, determine the right questions to ask and to analyse a candidate’s answers.

Participants work through real-life recruitment scenarios from your own recruitment processes. During this program, participants are given the opportunity to practise newly acquired skills through group activities, mock interviews, real interview preparation exercises, and develop behavioural-based interview guides.   Workshop topics addressed include:

  • Different interview styles
  • Legislation and relevant legal considerations
  • Unconscious Bias, Stereotyping and irrelevance.
  • Role profiling and analysis
  • Assessing candidate suitability
  • Developing and using interview guides (sample behavioural interview questions and sample interview guide are provided)
  • Body language
  • Developing and using behavioural-based interview questions
  • Apply techniques for use in controlling the interview. (Tips and Secrets)
